We need change; we need the system shaken up and formed in the image of successful institutions where delivery is the rule not the exception.

I want to take this time to thank each and every one of the voters who had enough faith in me to give me their first preference votes. A huge thank you also to other voters who gave me a high preference.

I contested the 2023 Newtownabbey council elections in the Macedon DEA area where I have been a proud resident for 15 years, along with my husband Paul and daughter Alexis in Rathcoole. Unfortunatley i was unsuccessful however I have laid the foundations of my political journey. I have great pride in my working-class roots and have a deep love for my heritage and culture. I am an active member of a local voluntary group, the RATH Community Group. I engage and try to work with all sections within the local area, including other community groups, bonfire groups, churches, marching bands, sports teams and the wider community in general. I am also a committee member of the local Row on Row project. It is a community project currently on going to recognise those men and women who sacrificed their lives for our freedom during the world wars. I’m also a member of RECAP, which is a partnership of local community representives, committed to positive change in the local area.

I am a community development manager in a local fast-food restaurant, loving wife, mother and my focus and drive are to help others have a better quality of life and to help elevate them to success. Don't be taken in by the scaremongering peddled by those who are only frightened of losing power.

The power of the people is stronger than the people in power. Help me - help you!
